Launching Our 3rd Annual Holiday Food Drive

The holiday season is a time of giving, and at Make Space, we’re excited to announce the launch of our 3rd Annual Holiday Food Drive. Once again, we’re spreading warmth and joy by collecting non-perishable items, canned goods, and donations for local food banks and raising funds for Food Banks Canada. We believe that this season is the perfect time to come together as a community and make a meaningful impact on the lives of those in need.

Why a Holiday Food Drive?

The holiday season is a time of celebration, but it can also be a challenging time for many individuals and families. Our current cost of living crisis and the colder weather and increased expenses can put a strain on those who are already struggling. It’s a time when community support is needed more than ever.

Our Holiday Food Drive is our way of giving back to the communities that have supported us throughout the year. It’s a way for us to show our gratitude and make the holiday season a little brighter for those who are facing difficulties.

How You Can Get Involved

Our campaign will run from November 1st to December 8th, and we invite you to join us in making a difference. There are several ways you can get involved:

Donate Canned Goods and Non-Perishable Items: Visit any of our Make Space Storage locations to drop off non-perishable food items and canned goods. Look for the collection boxes and help us fill them with essential items that will go directly to local food banks.

Make a Monetary Donation: All our Make Space Storage locations will also be collecting monetary donations that will go directly to local food banks.

You can also make a monetary donation through our Food Banks Canada donation page. Every dollar counts and will go toward supporting the incredible work of Food Banks Canada who support organizations from coast to coast to coast.
